Planning Specialist

Are you ready to make a significant impact in our operational processes? Join our Contract Logistics Team in Geel as a Planning Specialist.

Your Role

You will play a pivotal role in our operational processes. You will translate the daily order flow into precise personnel schedules, which you will discuss with the operational managers. You will maintain daily contact with the customer, adeptly managing urgent issues, and will be able to reflect with pride on your achievements at the end of each day, week, and month.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze production forecasts from various external customers using a range of internal planning and forecasting tools and reports;
• Establish priorities in consultation with the customer, holding daily meetings with operations managers;
• Deliver personnel schedules (on a quarterly, weekly, and daily basis) for various customers;
• Manage general planning administration, including planning and productivity reporting, monthly invoicing, and capacity meetings with external customers;
• Conduct post-calculation analyses to scale new orders and identify additional opportunities;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and administrative processes;
• Critically evaluate the creation of MBR/QBR slides to determine the key messages to convey to the customer.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
• Knowledge of logistics processes;
• Advanced IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word;
• Proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
