YOUR ROLE

Join our team as National Sea Logistics Reefer Development Manager and embark on an exciting journey to identify and target new business opportunities within the SME sector, focusing on reefer logistics for perishable goods. You'll develop innovative sales strategies, build lasting client relationships, and provide customized logistics solutions. Dive into market research, negotiate rewarding contracts, and contribute valuable insights through detailed sales reports. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities within the SME sector, focusing on companies that require reefer logistics for perishable goods.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth in the reefer logistics sector.
  • Product Knowledge: Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of our reefer logistics services and the unique requirements of transporting perishable goods.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry. A focus on reefer logistics and perishables is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Understanding of the SME sector and the specific logistics needs of perishable goods.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and preferably Dutch. French is plus.
