Senior Solution Design & Procurement Manager

Job description

• Develop Transportation Strategies: Create and implement transportation strategies that drive business growth and align with company objectives.
• Innovative Solution Engineering: Design and implement innovative transportation solutions, including route optimization, carrier selection, and technology integration.
• Procurement Management: Oversee the sourcing, tendering, and procurement of transportation services, ensuring the selection of the right partners.
• Team Leadership: Guide and develop a team of transportation solution design and procurement managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Strategic Carrier Management: Manage relationships with carriers, ensuring strategic alignment and performance excellence. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor carrier performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service quality.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Business Verticals, Transportation Operations, IS TMS and Project Management, to ensure seamless integration of transportation solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends and leverage insights to improve transportation strategies.
