Job description
Als expediteur op de exportafdeling ben je verantwoordelijk voor het traject en aflevering van alle soorten cargo hoofdzakelijk vervoerd per schip. Je onderhoudt een intensief contact zowel met je klanten, de agent ter plaatse alsook met je leveranciers.
Hoe zal jouw dag eruit zien?
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de export afdeling en dit voor alle soorten cargo hoofdzakelijk vervoerd per schip
- Je onderhoudt een intensief contact zowel met je klanten, de agent ter plaatse alsook met je leveranciers
- Je bent betrokken bij de operationele, administratieve en commerciële aspecten van de expeditie in al haar facetten.
- Je klanten en/of agenten zijn eveneens zeer divers en bevinden zich overal ter wereld.
- Je draagt de verantwoordelijkheid over de toegewezen accounts vanaf de initiële aanvraag en offerte, over de boekingen tot en met de finale facturatie en afhandeling.

- Je bent service- en klantgericht, niet enkel naar buiten toe, maar ook intern naar je teamgenoten en andere afdelingen toe
- Je werkt accuraat en ordelijk en behoudt overzicht over je dossiers en taken
- Je denkt vooruit en laat niets aan het toeval over; je bent praktisch en 'hands-on' ingesteld
- Je verzorgt je communicatie en je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands, Frans en Engels; elke extra taal is een plus
- Kennis software applicaties: de gebruikelijke office applicaties aangevuld met AS400 werkomgeving & Lotus Notes
- Je hebt een open, multiculturele geest en je houdt van veelvuldige, internationale contacten
- Je bent een 'team player' & kan ook zelfstandig werken
