Job Description

Unique Maritiem Antwerp is looking for a Junior Crew Discipline Planner who's ready to dive into a dynamic role at one of the foremost offshore pipelaying and subsea construction companies. Intrigued? Keep reading!

Your Role:

  • You'll ensure the best crew planning for all our vessels.
  • You'll be the go-to person for our crew and disciplines when it comes to planning.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders like HR, VMT, L&D, and our crews will be key.
  • Proactively coordinating across all units within Crew Operations, you'll keep things running smoothly.
  • Collaborating with discipline managers, you'll decide on resource needs.
  • Supporting our crew operations teams in tackling short-term planning challenges will be part of your day-to-day.
  • You'll aim for consistent and well-balanced crew schedules.
  • Keeping our handbooks, standard operating procedures, and checklists up-to-date will also be part of your role.
  • You'll liaise with vessels to ensure our crews have the right mix of skills and experience.


Job Requirements

About You:

  • You have a professional bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Your background includes relevant experience, preferably in the offshore industry, or similar expertise in planning and organization.
  • Good communication skills and a knack for organizing things effectively come naturally to you.
  • Prioritizing tasks is something you excel at.
  • You thrive in a team environment and bring a proactive approach to your work.
  • You're fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Traveling to vessels and being visible within our fleet in Essen (Belgium) and Delft is something you're ready for.
