Operational Quality Manager – Benelux Network

Job description

As an Operational Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and quality of logistics operations within the Benelux region. You will closely collaborate with partners to improve their processes and ensure optimal management of flows and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities :

Quality Monitoring and Improvement:

• Analyze performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the quality of operations and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with partners to implement corrective action plans and promote best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Astre network quality standards and update specifications as required.
• Conduct regular on-site quality audits and hold meetings to track progress.

Operational Network Management:

• Oversee and optimize logistics flows at the Astre Benelux Hub in Saintes.
• Coordinate activities between partners to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Resolve operational issues in collaboration with partners and internal teams.

Partner Relations:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Benelux network partners on operational and quality-related matters.
• Support partners with local projects related to operations, logistics, or administrative processes.
• Build and maintain trustful relationships with partners and promote effective collaboration.

Administration and Billing:

• Control operational invoices and manage disputes when necessary.
• Prepare detailed monthly reports on performance, actions taken, and improvements.
• Ensure the administrative management of operations is in compliance with network requirements.

Leadership and Continuous Improvement:

• Identify improvement opportunities and propose innovative solutions to enhance process efficiency.
• Motivate and support operational teams to achieve performance and quality goals.

Desired Profile :

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in logistics, operations management, or administration (minimum Bachelor’s level) or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, including responsibilities in quality monitoring, flow management, and administration.
• Expertise in analyzing KPIs and implementing improvement plans.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics information systems.

• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with partners.
• Natural leadership ability with a track record of coordinating projects or teams.
• Organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail in managing priorities.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in French and Dutch (both written and spoken).
• Good command of English.

Position Details :

• Location:
  • 2 days per week at the Astre Benelux Hub in Saintes, Belgium.
  • Regular travel within the Benelux region to support partners and oversee operations.
• Contract Type: Permanent (CDI)
• Reporting Line: Board of Directors (Partners)
